The regional winner will have the opportunity to assemble their own prize package from the broad range of services listed below. Cluster 55° will provide two services to be carried out within one year. Furthermore, the winner will receive a 12-month membership in Cluster 55°, including free access to pitching events and complimentary membership in the Cluster 55° Business Roaming Agreement, with access to offices and networks in more than 15 different countries around the world.

In addition, Cluster 55° is offering a dedicated student prize this year: The chance to explore further business opportunities on a trip to either Munich, Madrid, or Rome, including a study visit at the regional Galileo Center and meetings with relevant companies.

The Øresund region is among the most innovative and well developed cross border regions in Europe with a very large density of ICT companies. The uniqueness of this region lies in the cross-national collaboration between Denmark and southern Sweden, between which Øresund ("the Sound") flows. Cluster collaboration among various industries such as IT, food, logistics, and the environment makes the region strong and able to present many competencies. As the region holds many of the large well-known brands within the area of wireless technologies, like SonyEricsson, Nokia and Microsoft, it is also very natural that the region is a place for new innovations within the field of positioning services. Especially within different types of mobile applications and gaming, there are a large number of new companies growing within the field of GNSS services.

Cluster55° is a non-profit organization uniting Danish and Swedish ICT actors in the Øresund ICT cluster. Cluster55° provides knowledge and contacts among the ICT actors in the Øresund Region. In collaboration with well-established companies and innovative start-ups we strengthen the ICT cluster, which makes Cluster55° the leading network organisation in the area. Our goal is to help start-ups and SMEs in the region to grow through our international network.
