NAVIGATE YOUR BUSINESS INTO AN EMERGING MARKET

Every year since 2004, Anwendungszentrum GmbH Oberpfaffenhofen (AZO) has been organising the European Satellite Navigation Competition (ESNC) – an international innovation competition (www.galileo-masters.eu) spanning more than 20 partner regions around the world. AZO also began running a European competition centred around the subject of Earth Observation, the Copernicus Masters (www.copernicus-masters.com) in May 2011. Meanwhile, the organisation supports start-up companies in commercialising aerospace technologies as one of the seven ESA Business Incubation Centres in Europe (www.esa-bic.de).
In all of these projects, AZO works closely with partners such as the European Space Agency (ESA) and the German Aerospace Center (DLR).

PLACEMENT AS PART OF THE EUROPEAN SATELLITE NAVIGATION COMPETITION (M/W)

We are looking for placement students who can join our team immediately and provide proactive support to our project managers in connection with this innovation competition.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assisting the implementation of communication media (brochures, other informative materials)
  • Supporting the coordination and organisation of international events, workshops, and conferences
  • Engaging with partners and external service providers by phone and written correspondence
  • Conducting research on and surveys of the ESNC’s past winners and other participants regarding the ongoing development of their ideas, as well as the competition’s effect on economies and the foundation of new companies in the fields of aerospace and satellite navigation
YOUR PROFILE
  • Studies in a related field
  • Solid communication skills, including clarity and eloquence in verbal and written correspondence
  • Very good English skills in verbal and written correspondence
  • Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Word and PowerPoint)
